3rd: Ballyshannon Dedication Ceremony The Erne Estuary Fishermen Memorial erected and dedicated to a group of people who in the 1920's were instrumental in having the Erne River at Ballyshannon County Donegal brought under the public control of the Irish nation. To this day the particular court case is know as 'The Kildoney Fishermen's Case'.
5th – 11th : Ballyshannon 400; Ballyshannon celebrates the 400th anniversary of the signing of the Royal Charter. Featuring exhibitions, cultural nights, sports, masterclasses, walks, genealogy, concerts, kid's activities and street entertainment.
