Creevy Experience Ireland Website Booking Conditions and Frequently Asked Questions

Please read the following terms and conditions. By continuing to access Creevy Experience Ireland website, you (the “user”) will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

In particular, please note that unauthorised use or downloading of material from the website is absolutely prohibited.

Booking Conditions

Our cottages have been inspected and classified under the classification scheme – our cottages are four star (****) approved which provide a high standard of fittings for your comfort. All our cottages provide an ensuite room and all sleeping accommodation is provided in the bedrooms.

Our cottages are VAS Grade 4 approved which applies to all wheelchair users including those requiring assistance to transfer to and from the wheelchair eg Carer/partner.

Our EU Eco Flower label is a new and uniquely Irish concept in our Eco friendly self catering units. The label means that all material, services are derived from natural and renewable sources. The furniture/fittings would also use all natural and renewable materials. All our services are renewable energy sources.

The following conditions apply to bookings made with Creevy Cottages:

Payment; When you book, a deposit of 33% of the total cost is required, subject to a minimum of €65. The balance is payable 42 days prior to the arrival date. If you book within 42 days of arrival date, the full amount is required at time of booking.

Cancellation Charges; If you have to cancel your holiday for whatever reason, we reserve the right to make a cancellation charge as follows;

More than 42 days; Deposit
22-42 days; 60%* of total rental
8-21 days; 75%* of total rental
Less than 8 days; 100% of total rental
*A minimum cancellation charge of €65 applies

Your confirmed booking constitutes a legal contract between you and Creevy Co-operative Ltd which requires you to pay for the reserved accommodation in the event of curtailment of your holiday.

Problems & Complaints; Any problems or complaints should be discussed with Creevy Co-operative Ltd. Failing satisfaction you should write to; Customer Relations Section, Failte Ireland – Irish Tourist Board, Baggot Street Bridge, Dublin 2

Comments; Please contact us on the general services you have experienced in our cottages. Your compliments will be appreciated and your constructive criticisms will be helpful in ensuring an even better product next year.

Right to Decline; Creevy Co-op reserves the right to refuse, alter or cancel a booking, even after receipt of final payment. In addition, the company is relieved of all liability should accommodation or activities not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. In such an instance, alternative arrangements will be made in similar accommodation, and alternative activities offered.

Termination of Booking; Management reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking for any reason, and at any stage of such booking, and to terminate the rental of any breach of the above detailed Terms & Conditions.

Offers and Special Rates; From time to time we run special offers and discounted rates. Each offer can be redeemed on its own individual merit. It cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other offer or promotion from Creevy Cottages.

Acceptance; By making this booking, you have agreed to accept the Terms and Conditions above. You agree to be responsible for the cottage(s) for the duration of your stay and have read and fully understood the Terms & Conditions of Creevy Co-op.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the price include?

Creevy Cottages price is for the time specified and is all inclusive – includes electricity, central heating, linen & towels are also provided.

How do I Pay?
A deposit of 33% is required to secure the booking and the balance is required 28 days prior to arrival.

Do I have to pay a security deposit?
Yes, a security deposit is required for Creevy Cottages. This deposit is returned to you in full on your departure providing that the houses are left in a clean and tidy condition. (In some cases your security deposit will be returned to you by post within 14 days of departure).

A security deposit is required to cover any breakages or damage that may occur during your stay. A credit card number, post dated cheque or cash is accepted.

Do I need to bring my own bed linen?
No our cottages are supplied with duvets and all bed linen and towels. However, guests will need to bring bed linen for cot, if required.

What facilities are available in the cottages?

Our cottages have fully equipped kitchens including microwaves, dishwashers, washing & drying machines. TV’s are provided in the living rooms. A cot is available on request. We have a patio and barbeque facilities at the back of the cottages.

Is there an additional charge for electricity?
No, electricity is included in the price.

How early do I need to book?
We recommend that you book as early as possible especially if you are planning your holiday for the busy months of July and August. Ireland has numerous bank holidays during the summer season and these tend to be booked up at an early stage.

Do I require a credit card to book online?
Yes, if you wish to make a booking on line a credit card is required. In the event of you not possessing a credit card we will hold your booking for 7 working days until we receive the appropriate deposit by post or bank transfer. Your deposit is payable to Creevy Co-op by cheque, postal order or bankers draft.

When do I pay in full for my holiday?
The balance of monies payable for your stay is expected 28 days prior to your arrival.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my reservation?
Any changes to your reservation must be made as early as possible by phone, fax or e-mail.

In the event of a cancellation, deposits are non-refundable but at times they may be used for a booking at another stage. In the event of a no-show we are obliged to hold all monies paid to us. In the event where the balance has not been paid we will charge the full amount of your stay to your credit card.

In the event that you wish to cancel your booking, the following charges will apply:

What time can I check-in?
Check-in time is normally from 4pm – 6pm. We would also ask that you phone or text ahead of the day before your arrival to give an indication of your check in time. If you require an early check-in, we will try and facilitate this.

What time do I have to check-out?
Check-out time is strictly 10am during the Summer months of July & August. At other times we try to be as flexible as possible.

Special Requests
Requests for cots and fold up beds must be made at time of booking, whilst we will endeavour to do all possible to meet your request, it can not be guaranteed. Fold up beds are not suitable for adults.

Cleaning, Linen & Towels
Initial supply of bed linen and towels are provided for your cottage. We recommend you bring your own towels for use off our premises. If extra cleaning or changes in bed linen and/or towels is

Can I stay for 2-3 days or is it weekly letting only?
Yes our minimum requirement is 2 nights stay during the off-peak times. This can be weekend or midweek (depending on availability) except for the months of July & August.
